About INFORM
INFORM (International Network for Online Resources and Materials) provides onsite training in Africa, Asia, and the Newly Independent States regarding free, high-quality information accessible through WWW. Depending on the setting and topic, the training may be designed for researchers, students, university teachers, clinicians, programme officers, or information specialists and librarians.
INFORM’s initial purpose was to provide information training in the health sector, and it continues to run health information workshops, usually focused on public health, reproductive health, maternal-and-child health, infectious diseases, or other topics of particular relevance to developing countries.
In addition, INFORM provides training workshops on a range of other topics, including agriculture, development, international law, human rights, mathematics, and the natural sciences.
